100% Renewable Businesses and Communities
A Briefing for Policymakers
Thursday, March 15, 2018
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
House Members Lounge, Massachusetts State House
Sponsored by Representative Marjorie Decker, Representative Sean Garballey, and Senator Jamie Eldridge

The movement for a future powered entirely by clean, renewable energy is growing. More than 100 major companies have committed to power their operations with 100 percent renewable energy in the coming decades. Seven cities and towns in Massachusetts, along with Boston University and Harvard University, have also pledged to achieve 100 percent renewable energy targets.

How will these businesses, municipalities, and institutions achieve their 100 percent renewable energy goals? As legislation moves forward to power Massachusetts with 100 percent renewable energy, what lessons can state policymakers learn from companies and cities that are leading the clean energy transition?

Please join us for a conversation about the path to a 100 percent renewable energy future for our businesses and institutions, our communities, and our Commonwealth.
