Want to help keep solar working for Massachusetts? Here’s what you can do:

Take Action

Tell your legislators to keep solar working for Massachusetts!

We need your help urging Massachusetts legislators to expand one of our state’s most successful solar programs: net metering. A cap on net metering, which gives customers fair credit for their solar power, is endangering continued solar growth and thousands of jobs across the state. Your voice is critical to the future of solar in Massachusetts.  With your support, we can keep solar working for Massachusetts.

Make two quick calls and ask your state legislators to raise the caps!

1) Call your state legislators:

Dial the numbers below and ask to be put through to your elected officials (you can give them your address if you don’t know the names of your state legislators).

  • Senate Switchboard (617) 722-1276
  • House Switchboard (617) 722-2000

2) Say:

I’m a constituent and a solar [worker / customer / supporter]. I am calling to urge you to raise the caps on net metering this summer so that solar can continue to grow and provide economic and environmental benefits to the Commonwealth. Will you support raising the net metering caps?

Feel free to add your own sunny story! Why do you care about solar success in Massachuetts? Personalize your appeal to have a big impact.

3) Report back:

Let us know what they said! Email info@solarisworking.org with your legislators’ response so we track progress.
