DPU, One South Station, Boston, Massachusetts, 02110
The Single Parcel Rule limits the number of net metering facilities to a single parcel of land to one. The DPU is currently exploring whether a blanket exception to this rule should be issued for certain types of solar net metering facilities in order to make it easier to develop solar on, for example, multi-family affordable housing developments. To make this determination, the DPU is seeking comments in response to a list of questions outlined in the order issued in Docket 17-22.
This Pro Tour will take attendees to the Highland Street Homes Project, two energy-efficient duplex homes designed to look like a traditional Georgian Colonial and its companion carriage house. The featured homes are part of Boston’s E+ Green Building Program, which is promoting regenerative multi-unit residential buildings and bringing energy and environmentally positive homes to the city.
Eversource has filed its rate case (D.P.U. 17-05). The public has an opportunity to submit written comments by May 31, 2015 at 5:00 PM and/or speak at one of the public hearings listed on the MassSolar events page.
