DPU Public Hearing- Single Parcel Rule
May 3, 2017
DPU, One South Station, Boston, Massachusetts, 02110
The Single Parcel Rule limits the number of net metering facilities to a single parcel of land to one. The DPU is currently exploring whether a blanket exception to this rule should be issued for certain types of solar net metering facilities in order to make it easier to develop solar on, for example, multi-family affordable housing developments. To make this determination, the DPU is seeking comments in response to a list of questions outlined in the order issued in Docket 17-22. Read the Order and questions here.
Written comments can be submitted by April 10th. A public hearing is being held on May 3rd. Everyone is welcome to attend and testify.
